A nice ad would be placed in the "Caravan Express" publication and provide a light lunch or refreshments to the brokers. This sometimes encourages brokers to stop by and see the property.
- Joan places your property in the Multiple Listing Service about a week in advance of having it open on the Tuesday Caravan. It seems to cause a pent-up demand situation, whereby buyers will want to make a very serious bid before it is exposed on a large scale to the brokers on Caravan. This strategy has worked repeatedly for Joan's clients.
- Advertising in publications such as the Los Angeles Times and in Weekend Open Houses. This publication has become popular with buyers and agents alike. It is a well-organized weekend guide which summarizes the homes which are either open or available to be shown by appointment.
- A photo brochure will be designed for the property to be distributed to clients and to agents.
- Attractive signage will be placed on the property.
- All of Joan's listings are available to prospective buyers through the Internet. This can expose the property to clients all over the world.
- Sunday Open Houses will be held, at the client's request.
